From July 1 to December 31 Plano ASG members donated over 592 hours of their time to make at least
529 items including fleece lap and baby blankets, receiving blankets, finger puppets, demise gowns
and gel pacs for preemies. The items were delivered to the Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, Children’s
Hospital at Legacy, Medical Center of Plano, Baylor Hospital of Plano, Parkland Hospital, Texas Children’s
Hospital and Metrocrest Ministry.
The hospitals all expressed gratitude for the “gifts” we brought to them. As the Charity Sewing
Neighborhood Group leader Jane wishes to thank all of you who have participated in this “work of love.”
The Charity Sewing neigborhood group meets every 1st Friday of the month at 10:30 am at Bernina of Plano.
