Markita’s Pillow
Markita made this lovely Deer pillow, sewing along with Luke Haynes. Did anyone else join? I still want to make this pillow, but I don’t think it will happen this year!
Nienke’s Skirt
I refashioned my first item! I bought this size 20 jacket for $3.79 in a thrift shop and made it into a Christmas skirt. I used a skirt I already owned as a pattern.
The skirt has three tiers and the waist tier is made out of the sleeves. There was just enough fabric to work with and luckily the many seams of the jacket don’t show too much in the skirt. In 2014 I’ll be hunting for more jackets with potential!
