The Plano Chapter of ASG celebrated 10 years of sewing friendships with a theme of another anniversary – Diane Von Furstenberg’s iconic wrap dress celebrating it’s 40th year!
It’s a Wrap Program
Our dynamic special events team created a contest theme which included wrap garment, wrap outer wear and wrapped package categories.
Our luncheon featured a great Mexican food buffet from Blue Mesa, and a fashion show of all of the entrants showing off their creativity.
Every attendee received a mug rug courtesy of the very talented Hoopala Sisters machine embroidery neighborhood group.
Had a great time. A special thanks to everyone involved in making it happen.
I’m so glad I went as there were a lot of giggles at my table. I enjoyed meeting some new people and hugging the ones I already know. Judging was very difficult because there were so many great items. And I absolutely LOVE my mug rug and name-tag.
