I just read that Luke Haynes, the quilter artist I blogged about a few weeks ago, joined the Bernina Sewing Expert team:
“Over the next few months I am going to share with you a few of my methods and some tricks I use in my studio. Then create a sew-a-long hosted by WeAllSew so we can make a project together and I can show you how to make a mini-quilt in a style a little different than most quilters use.”.
I thought some of you might be interested in this. I certainly am!
He has already written 2 technique blogs, one about deconstructing a shirt and one about half-square triangles. The sew-along started last week, but don’t worry, you can still take part in it. Just follow the Week One and Week Two steps and if you take part, make sure to send me a picture!
Ps. if embroidery is more your kind of thing, check out this beautiful Holiday pillow .
