Fiber Retreat
Are you in need of a mini creative vacation? Consider the Fiber Retreat August 15th – 17th at the Lone Oak Ranch & Retreat Center in Gainesville. Beginning crochet and knitting classes will be offered. The fee includes a peg loom participants will use to make table runners, placemats, or any number of projects. The other projects will be a yarn wreath constructed with felted balls and a blue jean bag.

American Brides Inspiration & Ingenuity Exhibit
Maybe you’re looking for inspiration. What could be more inspirational than a wedding gown? The Greater Denton Arts Council in partnership with the UNT Texas Fashion Collection present the American Brides Inspiration & Ingenuity Exhibit. The exhibit runs June 28th – October 24th, 2014.
The Exhibit is at the Patterson-Appleton Center for the Visual Arts and is located in both the Meadows & Gough Galleries. The galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday 1-5pm with the exception of holidays. Additional details can be found on the Greater Denton Arts Council Website.
