How long have you been a member? Since 2012
What do you like to sew? I love sewing garments, especially when I can add a creative element to them. I also like making my own purses, but more as a need than a creative outlet.
What ASG groups do you participate in? I attend Toujours Couture, Community Sew when I can, and I lead the new ZOOM virtual group.
Can you tell us about a recent project? My last project was a really cute dress Quincy dress. I used some fabric I got from a remnant table on a NYC fabric shopping trip with Debby Bowles a few years ago. My next project is to get ready for the Linda Lee/Nancy Schriber workshop at conference in Boston to make a sashiko silk jacket.
How do you spread the art of sewing? I think I spread it conversationally, but also in my role as the Plano ASG Social Media manager. I have surprisingly fallen in love with creating graphics and videos that highlight what we do our what we know.
How can we find you online? Tell us about your website, social handles, blog, etc. You can find me on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/sheryl.belson and on Instagram as @sherylbelson.

These ladies have done a great job of changing their garments into wearable art. I admire this talent. Keep up the good work.
