A New Friend in an Old Place
If you have been around Richardson, Plano and Dallas for any length of time you probably have been to or heard about The Fabric Affair. Last year the store closed and then re-opened under new ownership in the same location. The new owners are Chris & Cathy Musson and Abigail & Michael Kralicek who also own Suddenly Sewing in Fort Worth.
Cathy manages The Fabric Affair while you will usually find Michael at Suddenly Sewing. You will see Chris Kralicek (Michael’s brother) at both stores, as he floats between the two.
The Fabric Affair carries Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff Sewing and Embroidery Machines, as well as premium cotton fabrics. They also carry the new Inspira Studio cabinets. They offer many classes for machine owners and well as classes in quilting, bags & totes, t-shirts and special events such as the upcoming FLORIANI EMBROIDERY TOUR scheduled for May 8th & 9th.
**This message has a very Special Offer for ASG members in the Dallas/Ft. Worth and Plano Chapters from Floriani Embroidery, an ASG “Notions” advertiser. All ASG members … and ONLY ASG members … who attend one of the Floriani classes and bring the coupon will receive an ADDITIONAL FREE GIFT valued at over $200 from Floriani. ***
The Fabric Affair will give a 10% discount on all non-sale items to ASG Members; remember to take your membership card as you must show it to get the discount.
Even better, on April 24 & 25 they will be giving guild members a 30% discount (again you must show your card).
Let’s support The Fabric Affair and our other local shops so that we will continue to have access to the best products and supplies for all of our sewing needs.
Do you service the Pfaff 1475 CD like the previous owners did?
We recommend you reach out to the store owners with this question. It is now called Sew Dallas.
